      There is a great store in Southgate Michigan called Decembers or have you tried JC Penny for some reason, I think I’ve seen Communion dresses there.       turn out – a waterproof blanket for turning out, can range from a lightweight sheet to a heavy winter blanket

      boots – invest in a good pair of boots or gaiters. make sure they have a zip and that they are the right size for your calf as well as your foot. they should be black or brown.

      hat – black or navy to match jacket.
      gloves – black or brown leather is best for showing, but not necessary.

      I would say wear gold, it will add an elagance to the dress. Black will look akward. Always wear light colors with light colors. White will make the outfit look to casual and too summery, you don’t want that for a wedding. Since the dress itself will standout DO NOT go over board with accesories. Try some diamond stud earings, some gold heals, a gold clutch, maybe some gold bangles or a tennis bracalet.

      Absolutely, I’ve seen it done a hundred times. You just have to be prepared to maybe not book the venue or caterer or photographer of your dreams, but it can be done if you can compromise. Also, keep in mind if it will be an expense for some guests to attend your wedding, they may need more notice to arrange the finances to do so.

      However, you’re getting way ahead of yourself. You’re not even engaged yet and this has been a short-lived relationship, I would think you would want to enjoy each other’s company and get to know each other better before committing yourselves to one another for the rest of your lives. It’s a huge commitment and it’s better to know what you’re getting into before making it legal, divorce isn’t exactly easy or fun.

    • ANSWER:
      you could make the bottom ‘puffier’ by wearing a tulle petticoat under it . the more tulle ( net) the puffier the skirt will be. OR even a ‘ hooped’ petticoat.
      However keep in mind that putting a full petticoat under the skirt will also raise the hemline – so you would need to make sure that the original length is somewhat long to allow for this.

      Im in the process of doing the same myself, you have to just contact as many companies as possible – focus more on small boutiques etc as they often need or would more welcome the free advertising you are going to give them in return.
      Also contact local design colleges and ask students to showcase their designs etc – again for them also its an excellent advertising opportunity.

    Friend’s wedding: Another dress question?
    Alrite, so my friend who’s getting married in Italy in May just asked me if I could perform her first dance song, Save the Last Dance for Me by Michael Buble. Naturally, I said yes, but I had to return the dress that I was planning on wearing to the reception because it wasn’t “performance-y” enough. She felt bad, so she offered to pay for my new dress as long as it was under 0.

    I have three dresses picked out (some are listed for more than 0 but I have a 50% discount I can use). I want a dress that’s elegant, unique daring and enough that it would be easy to determine that I’m the performer but I in no way want to take attention away from the bride and groom.

      LOL I noticed that when I moved here 7 years ago. I always wondered but was too embarassed to ask. Eventually on tv some alam(Muslim scholar) was a guest and said it was because women will do lesbian things to each other so having “pious” men working there will prevent women from going gay.

    Which college should I choose: NC State or UNC?
    I’ve been accepted to both colleges, but I am having difficulty deciding. UNC sounds like the easy choice because I’ve always dreamed about going there, but State is also a good school. The reason that I’m having such a difficult time deciding is because at State I’m going to major in textiles and apparel (fashion), and at Carolina I would just have to major in business. State has the number 1 textiles program in the world, but Carolina has a really good business school. My dream is to become a buyer, and eventually open my own formal/bridal boutique. I am also very interested in rushing. I’m from North Carolina and I’m middle class. Which school do you think would be the best academically? The best socially?
