   how to wear uncomfortable mens shoes?
   i have bought a pair of shoes for school but last night to break them in i wore them to a wedding. for about 8 hours they were fine but once i was drunk and doing a bit of dancing they got really painful!

      After Hours has nice suits and Tuxedos. Also dont forget the department stores. I would go with a darker color if its a formal wedding, and a lighter color for an informal wedding.

      Wear leather dress shoes, black with a black suit – and dark brown with a tan suit. If it’s a gray suit, wear black shoes.

      Maybe you could go shopping together with his Groomsmen? They may have been to weddings before and can give you a good idea!

    Mens fashion help – wedding clothes..?
    i have a wedding coming up and am determined not to wear the predictable suit. I have some charcoal fine wool pleated trousers and a navy double breasted cashmere overcoat. I will be wearing black shoes, but have no idea what else to wear. I do not wish to look businessmanly, but have also been told not wear a black tie. I have a navy and silver silk scarf which i’d like to wear but is not essential. Do i go for a silver shirt and tie? White shirt and blue tie? Pink shirt and red tie?       First off: I LOVE THOSE SHOES!!!! and second: I don’t think that boyfriend jeans would look very good with this outfit. Its a very cute outfit btw:) I’ve been a model for about 3 years and i’m HUGH into fashion and i personally don’t think that boyfriend jeans would go. try a pair of skinny jeans. A dark pair would look best:) not black but like a dark blue and maybe a little faded in some spots. The picture that i put in is a pair of skinny jeans that i bought from target the are org. but right now they are on sale for I love them and i think that they will look great with your outfit:) Have a fun time at the wedding!

    I have size 9 1/2 feet (womens) and I can’t find any shoes? (UK)?
    I’m 14 and I’ve had size 9 feet since I was 12, now I’m 9 1/2, and the whole time I’ve had trouble finding shoes -without having them custom made because they’d cost too much. Anyway I’m completely stuck now because all the size 9 shoes and up I find are either

    -too narrow (wide feet too)
    -have heels (I don’t wear heels because don’t fancy messing up my spine thank you very much)
    -aren’t suitable
    -just don’t fit/aren’t comfortable at all

    and I’m pretty stuck. I’m really having trouble with school shoes as well because the girls rules for shoes are…
    -black shoes (no other colour at all, not even white)
    -no heels above 2 inches (wouldn’t wear heels anyway)
    -no logos
    -no trainers
    …so I’ve been wearing the same pair of shoes for two years (in the bin now because it’s the holidays and they were falling apart) and I went back to the same company but they didn’t have anything and I checked the catalogue to see what would be coming in and there wasn’t anything there either.
    I know people are telling me that bigger shoe sizes are coming in for women because bigger feet are becoming more common but I sort of need them now, pretty desperate. Literally, I only have three pairs of shoes in existence now, one pair are flip flops that are too small but it doesn’t really matter, another pair are dolly shoes I got for a wedding which don’t fit and I can’t wear them for over an hour or so before getting blisters and cramps, and the last pair are the only ones that actually fit me which are trainers but they’re pink and white (I’m not a pink person =/) and they’re wearing down slowly -the shop where I got these has closed down =/

    So does anyone know any shops in the UK that sell big shoes for women? Or even mens’ shoes that are feminine? (I’m desperate.) Don’t say New Look because I check all the time, I got one pair of pumps that fit me but they wore doesn’t and had huge holes so I was basically walking in socks with pump camouflage =/ I know some people will probably see this as a stupid thing but I also need ones that are pretty ‘girly’ for some things because e.g. I have skinny jeans that don’t go with my trainers and only go with my dolly shoes, and I have a huge annual thing coming up where I’ll have to wear a dress with ankle leggings/skinny jeans (I’m that type of person haha) and my trainers wouldn’t go because it’s quite formal

    My wedding is Oct. 16th when do we….?
    Mail out the invitations and what should I put in with them (other than RSVP card). Do I put the registry card in with that? Directions to the location? I read 3 months before the wedding you are supposed to mail them out….That seems really early!

    Also, I need to order his ring. It is available in white gold or palladium. It is a very nice ring and I want it to last. He works in remodeling (so kind of construction) and I am worried the white gold will look awful quickly. But I only know what jewelr have told me about palladium. Thoughts.

    Lastly. We picked out the mens tuxes/shoes. The rental is 151.00 is that reasonable?

      My daughter is married to a man who installs hurricane shutters for a living. Like your soon-to-be hubby, he works with his hands and tools. They elected to go with white gold. It has been three years and his ring looks just as new as it did the day they bought it. He does, however, clean it regularly with jewelry cleaner.

      The tuxedo and shoe rental sounds reasonable. Many tuxedo rental shops offer incentives for having the groomsmen fitted there as well. These incentives often include a free tuxedo for the groom or a free limo for the bride and groom.

      As for mailing out your invitations – Inside of your invitation is genernally the RSVP card, dinner selection card (if having a sit-down dinner and not buffet) and depending on whether or not your reception will be held in a different location you may want to include the directions to the reception hall along with a time (or state immediately following ceremony).

      Your registry card shouldn’t be included with your invitation. It’s generally mailed out before your invitations go out. If you plan on having a bridal shower, the hostess would include your registry card with those inviations. Another alternative is mailing out a “Save The Date” card. It’s acceptable to place the registry card in with that.

      Your actual wedding invitations do need to go out well in advance, but I would say that 2 months is well enough. Any longer than that and the inviation is likely to be misplaced.

    How to get a scuff/scrape mark off black leather shoes?
    I have a pair of mens leather shoes that I’m thinking of selling on Ebay.

    They would have been about £110 new but I got them free and don’t really like them.
    They are black sort of shiny leather loafers.

    I wore them once to a wedding and somehow managed to scrape the top of the leather off one of the toes leaving a narrow ,dull scuff mark about half an inch long.Otherwise they are perfect .

    Is there any way to get the mark shiny again?
    It’s only very slight but is noticeable.
    I don’t really want to spend much if anything on repairing them as I’m putting them on with a very low starting price just to see what they go for.

    So is there a fix?

      Buy some Kiwi shoe polish at your local walmart. That will fix it. Its very cheap too.

      I think those colors sound very pretty together! You can do lime and fuchsia together, but be very careful about how you do it! Like if you are going to have fuchsia bridesmaids dresses, have them carry bouquets with green flowers and maybe some brown accents. Maybe the groomsmen’s boutonnieres can be mostly brown?

      What about centerpieces? Do you want to have mostly fuchsia flowers? You can add the green by adding some green flowers in there as well.

      I wouldn’t do anything like having fuchsia linens and green plates or something crazy like that. You definitely have to be careful when you combine those colors, but it can be done!! I would speak with your florist first before you pick out the dresses and see what the florist recommends for combining all the colors you’re talking about. They will give you really good ideas and you can figure out where to go from there.

      I have found it very helpful to google my wedding colors and the word “wedding” in the images section. Like I am doing blue and aqua so I would google “blue and aqua weddings” and click on the images tab… you get tons of picture ideas!! Then you can save them to your computer to show to your vendors to give them ideas of what you want.

    I just recently bought a pair of shoes for a wedding on Sat.

    They are extreamly big for there size unfrotuently the smallest they make is a size 8 and they are still big! I take a size 10 mens normaly. Very odd……

    So I wanted to know is there a way to shrink them? I was thinking maybe putting them in the dryer? “Note my dryer has an anti spin cycle for shoes and other things”.

    Would that work?

    Anyone also know off hand the proper way to measure for lenth for pants its inseim right? Also same for dress shirt whats the method.

      leather shoes if wetted with water usually dry and are smaller or tighter. Now for the other questions .Just buy , beg ,barrow ,or steal clothes that fit you …the next time!!!

28. QUESTION:
    Are men and women’s ring sizes the same?
    Okay so I’m searching for a mans wedding band, but i want it to be a surprise, so i have no way of knowing his ring size without asking.. And i know about how much bigger his fingers are than mine. But idk if ring sizes are like shoes and they arent the same in gender.
    I heard that its the same as your shoe size, but it doesnt work with men all that well..
    but i also heard that mens and womens ring sizes are the same.
    and that jewelers use the same ring sizers on men and women..
    Im a size 7, which by the looks of it would make him about a 8 or 9 if its the same sizing..

    So the big question here, before i buy this band..
    Are men and womens ring sizes the same??

      i know everyone is saying they are different, i didn’t have that knowledge… i had him try on my engagement ring and judged it by that… ( i have big fingers… ) he could just barely get it on… so i ordered one size bigger than mine.. i tried his on when i got it, and it fit loosely on my finger… if i shock my finger hard enough, it might would have come off….so… my vote would be yes… the ring size for men and women are the same… not like shoes….

      u should go w/ a dark blue shirt not light blue cause a light blue shirt will make ur tie un-noticeable and a dark blue shirt will make it pop

    what would you do if you were in my shoe?
    ok.. today i went to wedding reception with my family at this hotel.. in the middle of the occasion, i have to mens room.. on my way to mens room, i saw my dad’s friend who i clearly recognize that already married with two kids is flirting with this girl which i dont know at this alley near the lobby.. i, of course, recognize her wife and im sure that wasnt her.. and both of us is in shock and i simply make my way to mens room try to ignoring them.. when my family and i about to leave the wedding, he yield my dad and certainly talk about me.. saying how i turn into a grown-up now and ask my dad to have a word with me.. so my family leave me with him.. and he suddenly gave me 100 and ask me to forget about whatever i saw at the wedding and to keep my mouth shut-up.. and i was like ok?! he also tell me if my dad ever ask me what the conversation, just say that he is offering a job for me just to cover all this thing up..

    so, my question.. what would you do if you were in my shoe? will you just act like nothing happen or you tell someone everything about it?

      This was foolish of that man to do.
      They say everyone has a price, meaning they can be “bought” out of their morals and principles. Not true.
      All a man truly has is his word and his character, his reputation.
      Do not let yours be “bought” for a lousy 0.
      Also, do not allow this man of questionable character to bring you to his level. He thinks 0 will keep your mouth shut, and even worse, destroy trust and have you lie to your father.
      I don’t know your age, but, if you are a young man, I would tell your father what happened, give him the 0 and ask him to return it to the idiot that gave it to you. If your father suggests you giving it back yourself, then do so.
      This way, you keep your dignity and morals, and let others know that your ethics are not for sale.

      Those folks will probably more appreciate the more common navy jacket, light blue shirt, and khakis. If the seersuckers are the tan/white combo and not the blue/white you could probably pull them off.

      I’ve done the NC wedding thing and you really should consider the heat and humidity. The seersuckers will save you on that end since they are so light, but you should be aware of your surroundings. I did a wedding with a light wool in late April and it was still too heavy.

      Wow you really are trying too hard. You realize it’s their wedding so no one is going to be paying attention to you. Leave the tags on so everyone will know how “wealthy” you are. Though tacky and wealthy aren’t the same.

      Yes seersucker pants and a dress shirt will look fine. When will the wedding be held? Dress is determined by time of day and time of year.

      Most people will probably be in a sundress or guy’s in khakis and a polo. Or in your terms a simple Nicole Miller sheath dress or a Ralph Lauren polo and Nautica khakis.
