15 Apr Popular Taiwanese TV host Patty Hou Pei Tsen and her billionaire banker fianc Ken Huang flew to Bali Island on Thursday morning to prepare for their wedding on Sunday, according to Apple Daily.
Carrying a Birkin bag said to cost in excess of US$ 17,000 (SG$ 21,000) and flashing a giant sapphire ring on her right hand, the 33-year-old Hou was quoted as saying they had invited 30 relatives and close friends for a “simple wedding.”
It is understood that the romantic ceremony will be held in an unidentified private hotel.
In an obvious nod to the fiasco that surrounded Barbie Hsu and Wang Xiao Fei’s wedding, Hou said they will email wedding photos to the media on the same day.
The former news anchor was previously associated to a number of male personalities such as former Taiwanese group L.A. Boyz members Stanley Huang and Steven Lin, the son of Kuomintang chairman and former Taiwan Vice President Lien Sheng Wen, Zhang Rui Zhang and more but was most famously attached to Taiwan’s biggest name international pop star Jay Chou.
Ken Huang is a high-flying executive at Citigroup Global Markets Inc.
