   My husband and I will be going to a casual wedding in Las Vegas in early November, any ideas of what I could wear? I’ve been debating between flowy black pants with a charcoal gray camisole heather gray cardigan and black cork wedges or a long black dress with black cork wedges. Any other suggestions would be great and really helpful. The bride is not fancy at all so this is going to be a pretty casual wedding.

     You dont really have to do much since its summer, its also depends on if the wedding is outside and if its formal…but since you said your wearing a summer type dress im guesiing its not formal.

     To do the last one you just take a 1/4 inch curling iron and wrap sections of your hair around the barrel. It usually turns out better if you make it a bit messy.

6. QUESTION:
   How can I have a wine themed wedding?
   The bridesmaids are each wearing different wine colored dresses (bordeaux, burgundy, pink) and we’re using old wine corks as place card holders. I want to incorporate more wine stuff in the wedding without it being really corny (no grapes, no checkered table cloths, etc.) Any ideas?
   juliejuliejulie: My fiance’s grandmother makes her own whiskey, so obviously she is not opposed to wine. I’m sure the wedding I have planned is nothing like the hedonistic drunk-fest you are imagining.

     Speaking as a mid-40s woman with a happy marriage, educated family, and professional career, I suggest you reconsider the wine-themed wedding entirely. A wedding is a religious and cultural event of (theoretically) paramount significance to the rest of your adult life.
     A theme party is more suited to birthdays, holidays, and sorority parties. Particularly when the theme is alcohol.
     What does the groom’s grandmother think about these shananigans?

7. QUESTION:
   wedding shower favors?
   I need some advice. I have small glass bottles with a cork. The bottles are about 5 in. tall. They have a narrow neck then it goes out wide. They almost look like what you would see in a science lab. Okay well I need advice on what I should put inside of these bottles. The bridesmaids dresses are red.

   • ANSWER:
     You could always fill them with cinnamon red tic tacs. And if you have some other colors incorproated with your wedding, you could mix the colored tic tacs. You can buy them in bulk at Sam’s Club and I’ve seen them in bulk at various candy stores online as well. Usually tic tacs are small enough to fit through the narrow opening and everyone loves a mint! Plus there’s lots of cute sayings for cady favor tags, like, Sweet Wishes from the Mr. and Mrs. Good Luck!!!

   I would like them closed toe and a steleto heal that is not cork. I tried Forever 21 and iron fist shoes with no luck. I need to find a pair by May 30 because I want them for my wedding. Thanks.

    Cute summer dress to wear with light yellow high heels?
    I am going to a summer wedding and need to find a cute summer dress but i also want one i can wear other places. I want to wear these light yellow high heels that have a tan cork look at the bottom of the shoe and the heel. They are very summer beachy high heels and i need to find a dress that would look good with them, not too expensive either. If anyone has any ideas or pictures that would be great! thanks!!

    does this sound nice for my wedding makeup.very detailed.lol, alot of mac & some other stuff..?
    Face:
    1. moisturize & prime ..& conceal.
    2. MAC studio tech, a little amount of Dermablend foundation & end with studio fix powder.
    3. Laura Gellar bronzer, MAC well dressed blush, & Benefit highbeam as a cheek highlighter.

    Eyes:
    1. prime eyes-Broghese.
    2. concealer all over.
    3. tape corners of the eye, later to be removed for definition.
    4. brown cover girl shadow wet with HIP liner brush as eyeliner.
    4. put a lighter brown (probably going to be Mac Cork) all over lids and blend all over lid & into crease darker in the outter v.(with a little bit of the darker brown Covergirl shadow)
    5. blend as perfectly as possible.(obviously) lol
    6. for the brow highlight im using pink freeze. its a gorgeous frosty pink.
    7. blend crease up into brow
    8. dark brown liner in waterline & tightline (upper waterline)
    9. remove tape & blend upwards to make the line not as harsh.
    10. just make sure everything is well blended to finish look.

    i will have single false lashes on..

    Lips:
    MAC spice liner.
    NARS lip lacquer in Chelsea Girls (beigy pink)

      I don’t think your choice of lip liner indicates you know how to do makeup. My time is too valuable to go through all the rest, I can’t just give it away…it’s your wedding…

12. QUESTION:
    Need to ask bridesmaid to step down due to artificial leg issue? (please read details)?
    I am getting married soon. My fiance wanted his sister in my wedding party, and hesitantly I told him “OK”, but secretly I did not want her to be. She has an artificial leg (it looks like a metal rod) due to a boating accident when she was younger. The problem is that my bridesmaids are all wearing shorter style dresses (right to the knee), and if she is in the wedding her ugly little rod leg will be showing. I really don’t want my pictures ruined by her “limb” so I am planning on asking her to step down. Plus it’s not like she could wear the heels I picked out either, she would have to have a cork or whatever they do to plug up the end. I don’t know the medical mumbo jumbo involved.

    How should I tell her? Should I just text her or should I just have my maid of honor tell her?

    The wedding is a very important moment in the life of every couple. A few months ago I was invited to a very special wedding. The bride was my best friend . The event itself was to take place on the 15th of June, but the preparations started a lot sooner than the actual date of the event. When I read the invitation cover, I knew the occasion would be magical. Since they had met on the beach, the wedding was sea themed. The preparations included setting up decorations( turquoise and white balloons,flowers) ordering special dishes, as well as various entertainment for everyone. The party after the ceremony took place in the nearest restaurant.
    On the day of the anniversary, everything was ready. I started preparations a month before, choosing a flawless turquoise dress. In that day I woke up at 11 am, having hairdresser appointment. I choose a simple hairdo but, at the same time sophisticated. Then, I get my nails done, and I dressed. I arrived 20 minutes before the appointed time and I waited, nervous the wedding couple. The first thing I noticed upon entering the interior was an enormous adorned cake in the middle of the interior. All decorations had the shape of sea themed objects such as fish, shells and boats. After having an ample dinner, champagne corks popped as the guests drank a toast to the happy couple. We were amazed about the exceptional atmosphere of the celebration however, what we were most astounded about was the performances that came after the toasts. Were there a variety of sea themed plays with real actors but also movies shown on huge plasmas with a short history of the couple. Also, they had a picture of them on a big picture frame surrounding picture to sign your name and write a message.
    The fantastic anniversary ended with the couple being given a variety of presents from the guests.

      i am surprised to hear that since most of the wedding chapels in las vegas are very fancy and pretty highly decorated. however, if it is going to be an evening wedding, i would suggest the long black dress since people still dress up in the evenings in vegas.

      the other outfit would be fine for a daytime wedding. even though it is november, it is normally still pretty warm in vegas then, so i hope the cardigan is light weight.
